Stargate: Atlantis is the spin-off of the Sci-Fi Channel's most popular series, Stargate SG-1. A new stargate team travels through the stargate to the lost city of the Ancients known as Atlantis, located in a distant galaxy known as the Pegasus Galaxy. Due to the high amount of energy needed to activate the gate to such a distant place, they are unable to travel back home. There they encounter a new enemy, known as the Wraith, responsible for driving out the Ancients.
