Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods - Final Cut is a remake of Stargate's SG-1 pilot episode! The producer's goal was to make it a stand-alone movie. The special edition is not simply be a new cut, but a complete reworking of the film from original footage shot in 1997, with some updates to the visual effects. The movie have a new scene, and a slightly different beginning. It's cut in 16:9 widescreen for the first time, and composer Joel Goldsmith has also revisited the score.
