(Richard Dean Anderson) is recalled to active duty to figure out why.
He, along with Captain Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping), an expert on Stargate travel, returns to
Abydos and meet up with Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks).

the two planets: Earth and Abydos. O'Neill, Jackson and Carter are assigned to a new
field unit: SG-1, whose mission is to perform reconnaissance, determine threats and

Upon returning from their last mission SG-1 learns that Kawalsky (Jay Acovone),
is infected with a Goa'uld parasite. The SGC (Stargate Command) must find a way

The SG-1 team travels to a planet whose inhabitants bare a strong resemblence to
the ancient Mongolians. When they encounter the SG-1 they are forced to reconsider
their views on women when Carter rebels against their social customs.

The SG-1 team head through the Stargate and discover a world divided between a dark and light side,
with a population similarly split between the Touched and the Untouched. Members of SG-1 become
infected with an alien virus that turns them into primative beings. Dr. Fraiser must find a cure to
save the team and the alien population from whom it was contracted.

invisibility. When Apophis arrives, SG-1 ambush him with disasterous consequences.

The team travels to Argos, where they find a civilization of beautiful, happy people
who celebrate while the sun shines and mysteriously drop to sleep the minute that it sets.

Daniel Jackson has figured that the Vikings might make a powerful ally,
so they travel to a planet called "Cimmeria", in the hopes of finding them.
Teal'c and O'Neill are transported to an underground cage designed by the
Asgard to protect an alien world from the Goa'uld. There they encounter an
"Unas", the first Goa'uld.

Jackson gains access to old military files, and learns that there had been experiments
done with the Stargate in 1945. It seems that the early team, led by Professor Langford,
succeeded in getting the Stargate to work. SG-1 travels through the gate and discovers
an ancient meeting hall that may hold the secrets of the universe itself.

The team finds out that Teal'c has a son Rya'c, who has reached the age at which he will
receive his Goa'uld larva. Teal'c and the team travel to Chulak, to stop the ceremony of
implantation with a hope to return with a Goa'uld larva for study.

The SG-1 team returns from the planet Oannes without Daniel Jackson, who was
last seen being consumed by fire. Daniel is taken captive by an alien, while
SG-1 is made to believe he is dead.

When Archeologists exploring a Mayan pyramid in Mexico find a sarcophagus covered in
Egyptian hieroglyphics, they accidentally release powerful Egyptian goddess Hathor,
a Goa'uld awoken from a sleep that has lasted a millennium. Hathor takes over the
SGC with hopes of raising a new army against the System Lords.

The team travels to planet, where they discover that a strange disease has
wiped out everyone on the planet except a little girl named Cassandra. The team
takes her back to Earth, only to find that the girl is a time bomb being used by
the Goa'uld.

SG-1 team visits a new world - Cartago, one of the Goa'ulds' favorite places
to harvest humans. One of the natives recognizes Teal'c, and accuses him of
killing his father. Teal'c must stand trial for a crime committed while he

The SG-1 team arrives on the planet Tollan to find there an erupting volcano and
bodies lying around the Stargate. SG-1 rescues the people who are still alive,
taking them back to Earth. But the Tollans, however, are not grateful for being rescued.

The SG-1 team gets separated when the Stargate 'malfunctions', sending Jackson and Teal'c
back to Earth, and Carter and O'Neill to an ice world with no way of escape.

When they awake, they find themselves in an underground lab with Harlan,
who says he has not only fixed their injuries, but improved them.

When SG-1 explores a new planet, Teal'c recognizes a Goa'uld symbol of destruction. O'Neill
orders the team to retreat, but Jackson stays behind to gather artifacts. He finds a mirror, touches it,
and is transferred to an alternate reality, in which the Goa'uld, led by Teal'c, are invading Earth.

it is only a matter of time before they launch an attack on Earth. Senator Kinsey arrives at the SGC to
investigate the program and determine whether the great drain on the U.S. budget is worthwhile.

Even though the Stargate program was order to be shut down, SG-1 decides to
use the coordinates to a supposed Goa'uld home world, and try to save Earth from attack.
They find themselves on a Goa'uld ship led by Apophis, full of Jaffa warriors, traveling
to attack Earth.
